Mr. Nandan Jha
Born in Jamshedpur ( Jharkhand ) on 15th March 1981, Mr. Nandan Jha is a humanitarian and one of the most successful Entrepreneurs & Journalists in Delhi-NCR region.
Mr. Jha is the Founder-Chairman of Interactive Forum on Indian Economy (IFIE), a Govt. of India recognized (80G, 12A, 8A compliant), Non-profitable company which owns the rural India’s leading Digital News Channel ‘Panchayati Times’, followed by Hon’ble Prime Minister and several Union Ministers; and monthly News Magazine ‘Power Corridors’.
Besides, Mr. Jha is also the founder of one of India’s most prestigious National award ‘Champions of Change Award’, an award for promoting Aspirational Districts, Gandhian values (Swachata), Community Service and Social Development.
Mr. Jha is also the founder of World’s Esteemed International foundation, “Gandhi Mandela Foundation” and ‘Gandhi Mandela Award’, a highly prestigious award constituted for promoting Gandhian and Nelson Mandela’s values.
Mr. Jha has also been honored with the highly prestigious ‘National Bravery Award’ in 1997 by the then Prime Minister of India Shri I.K. Gujral for saving the life of an old woman and her children when their cottage got fire in Patna, Bihar. He is also the recipient of the hugely recognized medal ‘Jeevan Raksha Padak’ in 1998 by the then Hon’ble President of India Shri K.R. Narayana for his bravery.
Mr. Jha, who has been a prominent face in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has been also felicitated by the then RSS chief Prof. Rajendra Singh alias Rajju Bhaiya.
A Science graduate, Mr. Nandan was associated with Sahara India Pariwar as a Consultant (Corporate Communications) and also served as a Consultant at Jindal Steel and Power Ltd. Apart from this, he also served as the COO of National News Channel– News World India and has been the Chief Operating Officer of travel company Ease My Trip.
Talking about his personal life, Mr. Jha married Dr. Payal Gawande, an MBBS doctor in a high profile wedding at Mumbai in the presence of RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat and they both are parents to a baby boy named Rudra Jha.
